Chandlodia is a residential neighborhood located in the western part of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
The region of Chandlodia is dotted with numerous small businesses and shops in addition to a variety of residential and commercial buildings. The area is well recognised for being quiet, having easy access to other parts of the city, and being close to a variety of facilities such markets, hospitals, and schools.

What is Governance?

Governance of Chandlodiya :
As a part of the city's municipal corporation, the governance of Chandlodia is primarily overseen by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
Chandlodia falls under the West Zone of the AMC, which is further divided into four administrative wards. Each ward is headed by an Assistant Municipal Commissioner (AMC), who is responsible for overseeing the ward's day-to-day activities, including maintenance of roads, drainage, street lighting, and parks.
Overall, the governance of Chandlodia is structured, with the AMC playing a crucial role in the area's development and maintenance. The councillor's role adds an additional layer of representation and ensures that the local population's needs and concerns are heard and addressed.

Health:
There are quite good health facilities in the neighbourhood and nearby. There is a whole commercial complex dedicated to the hospials and the dental clinics.
Transportation:
The transportation facility of the area is quite good. It's very well connected with the city though there is no BRTS or Metro station nearby.
Hygiene:
Overall hygiene of the area is very good but there is so much segregated waste around the street because of the underconstruction building.

Chandlodia is a suburban area located in the northern part of Ahmedabad city, in the state of Gujarat, India. Being an urban area, the flora and fauna of Chandlodia are limited and mostly influenced by human activities. However, there are still some natural elements present in the area.

The flora of Chandlodia mainly consists of ornamental and shade trees planted along the roads and residential areas. Some of the common trees found in the area are neem and gulmohar There are also some small patches of greenery in the form of parks and gardens, which host a variety of flowering plants and shrubs.
